Esk Picnic Races

Join us for an Eskceptional day at the Esk Picnic Races on Saturday, July 4 2009.  Since 1975, punters have enjoyed the fillies, frocks, frivolity, and fun of this fantastic annual event.

This is a recession-buster day out … for only $40 pp, you’ll get a return coach ticket direct to the Esk Jockey Club, entry to the races, great entertainment and old fashioned country hospitality.

Discounts apply ($35 pp) for groups of five or more, so get the gang together for a great day out.  And join in the “Fashions on the Field” parade to be in with a chance for a prize for the best group costume!!!

You can bring a picnic or purchase your BBQ lunch at the Esk Jockey Club.  Contact us for more details about marquees and catering if required.  Please note that no BYO alcohol is allowed, penalties apply.

Chartered coaches direct to the Esk Jockey Club depart 550 Wickham Tce, Spring Hill at 9am sharp on Saturday 4 July. Coaches return at Brisbane City at approximately 6.30pm.

All proceeds from tickets sold benefit the Mater Children’s Hospital.

Olivia's Lunch

Now in its seventh year, and having raised in excess of $260,000, Olivia’s Lunch is a ladies lunch held in memory of Olivia Clark (26 February 2001 – 4 March 2001).

We invite you to experience the unique atmosphere and join in the fun of Olivia’s Lunch.  Not your average charity or corporate lunch, this very special event is has become an annual tradition for many groups of girlfriends who catch-up for a good cause.

Your ticket includes champagne and canapés on arrival, a two course gourmet lunch and a glass of wine, plus tea and coffee afterwards.  Our special guest speaker will take you on a heart-warming journey plus we have a huge array of fantastic raffle and auction prizes for you to take home.

To provide the best possible care for these babies and their families, the Mater needs specialised staff, equipment and scientific research. Each year we aim to raise funds to help give the 2,000 premature babies treated annually at the Mater a better chance of survival.
